Training Options

System Administrator Training

This three-day instructor-led course provides a comprehensive understanding of administering GroundWork Monitor Professional so that users can support IT and data center operations. Course material includes tutorials on agents, plug-ins, traps, log message parsing and the use of proxies for agentless monitoring and enhanced security. Attendees will understand how to design, setup, tune and manage network monitoring using GroundWork Monitor Professional.

Network Management Suite (NMS) Course

An advanced training course for GroundWork System Managers is now being offered in our San Francisco office. This course is a thorough exploration of Network Management Suite's functionality with ample lab exercises so participants can install GroundWork and set up intricate monitors on a variety of devices.

Channel Partner/Project Engineer Training

This course is intended for system architects and planners who are interested in deploying GroundWork Monitor Professional in a number of settings and situations for multiple sites, divisions, and installations. This 1 day program covers theory, best practices, demonstrations with focus on deployment of services and project management procedures.

System Administrator Online

Live instructor-led online training occurs every 2nd week of each month and is available for those who are unable to take the System Administrator Training course in person either at GroundWork facilities. The online sessions cover the System Administrator course content in 3 days; 4 hours per day. The course provides a “follow the instructor” lab environment designed to fully equip students with the knowledge and skill set to administer GroundWork Monitor Professional installation.

Note: a minimum of 3 attendees is required to host the live online training sessions.

Getting Started with GroundWork Monitor Community Edition

An exceptional value! This four hour live online course is designed to introduce students to setting up and using GroundWork Monitor Community Edition, the free, downloadable community version of the GroundWork product family. Classes are held every two weeks in timeslots geared towards Europe/East Coast North America and West Coast North America/Asia-Pacific.

GroundWork in an Hour is our new video tutorial series from GroundWork Open Source. Each video is six to fifteen minutes in length and focuses on ways to help you get more out of your use of GroundWork Monitor Community Edition.
