As a GroundWork Monitor Customer, we roll out your new solution quickly and comprehensively – whether it’s as a fresh deployment or an add-on to existing monitoring. But our involvement doesn’t end there: we’re available at any point to assist with both major and minor expansions to your solution – be it adding a single custom device or setting up a new datacenter.
- Onsite Value Assurance Visits:
- As your site expands, a GroundWork Professional Engineer (PE) can provide on-site consultative reviews of your current GroundWork Monitor deployment. The Value Assurance Visit includes recommendations on how to better utilize your monitoring tools, improve your system performance and address any constraint or scaling challenges you may be experiencing.
Here are some Professional Services examples:
- A major oil company has a 10,000+ machine grid for analyzing seismological data that required an exceptionally high number of service checks per machine. GroundWork’s Professional Services implemented a Ganglia-based monitoring solution that was able to handle their exceptional capacity, with specialized GUIs to show all the machines at once for their initial deployment. GroundWork recently developed further optimizations that were deployed as part of a further expansion of their grid.
- A well-known East Coast University wanted to integrate their campus-wide security and alarm system integrated into their monitoring deployment. GroundWork’s Professional Services determined the optimal architecture and worked alongside them to guarantee continued security coverage during and after the monitoring roll out.
